Developing Emotional Granularity: A SEL Intervention in High-Poverty Contexts
To address socio-emotional competence gaps exacerbated by systemic marginalization, I designed and evaluated a pedagogical intervention aimed at expanding the active emotional vocabulary of 498 young women (ages 12-25) across 10 high-poverty communities in Mexico. Grounded in the theory of emotional granularity, the blended-learning program utilized spaced retrieval practice and metacognitive scaffolding. Using a pre-post assessment design, I conducted statistical analysis via Python and Tableau, revealing a transformational, statistically significant increase (p<0.001) in both lexical volume (effect size g=1.253) and categorical breadth of emotions.

From Intuition to Evidence: A Project-Based Curriculum for Social Innovation
"Evidence-Based Social Interventions" is a project-based learning (PBL) curriculum that I designed for high school and university students. The course scaffolds learners through a rigorous design cycle—problem diagnosis, evidence retrieval, strategic planning, and evaluation—moving them from intuitive helping to systematic engineering. To date, the curriculum has incubated over 40 student-led pilot projects, including national award-winning initiatives in STEM education.

Optimizing Mentorship: A Hybrid NLP & ML Model for Automated Mentor-Student Matching
Mentor allocation is a key process for Líderes en Movimiento, a high-stakes leadership program. I developed a hybrid predictive model combining Vector Embeddings and XGBoost. The system automated the complex matching of students to business leaders, reducing the administrative workflow from a three-person committee to a single-person supervision task. The project served as a dual intervention: optimizing operational efficiency while acting as a diagnostic tool that revealed critical flaws in upstream data collection and user interface design.

Scaffolding Civic Engagement: A Low-Bandwidth, Gamified LMS
To address a critical drop in student retention within a nationwide civic education program for adolescent women, I led the design and development of a custom Learning Management System (LMS) using Wix Velo. Informed by focus group analysis of the target demographic's connectivity struggles, the solution utilized lightweight architecture and gamification mechanics. The intervention doubled the program's capacity and increased terminal efficiency (completion rates) from 27.2% to 44%, all while maintaining an operating cost of under $300 USD per year.
